PokéSurvivor
The browser Pokémon survival game this whole site is about — one partner, one move, an endless map and a very large crowd.

Game introduction
What PokéSurvivor is, what it does, and what is actually going on while you play.
PokéSurvivor is a browser survival game in the spirit of Vampire Survivors and Survivor.io. You pick one partner Pokémon, walk an endless map, and your single move fires on its own while wild Pokémon close in from every side. Every one of the 966 species from Kanto to Paldea is playable, each with its own move pool and its own permanent upgrade track.
Runs are short roguelite sessions. Experience from defeated Pokémon levels you up, and every level offers three cards: learn a new move, upgrade the move you already have, or take a permanent boost for that partner. 59 of the 64 moves evolve at level 5 with the right card — Ember becomes Fire Blast, Bubble becomes Surf. Nothing is sold: coins buy permanent per-Pokémon upgrades and tickets feed the gacha, and both come out of playing.
The run does not end politely. Past minute 30 Arceus's Judgment begins: the chase turns invincible and accelerates, and a legendary arrives every five seconds with double the previous health and damage. Long runs are a race to prepare an ending before that point.
Free to play, no account needed. Every game on this page loads inside the frame above. Press play, wait for the build to load, and the game runs on this page — on a desktop, a tablet or a phone. Nothing is installed and nothing is downloaded to your device.
Still on your phone? The game keeps playing in the frame in portrait too — the games show their own rotate prompt when they need more width. Turn the device sideways, or tap the fullscreen button in the toolbar, for the full map.
More games, same frame. The row below links to the other survivor games this site carries. Each one has its own page with the introduction, the controls and the original screenshots.
How to play PokéSurvivor
Six steps that cover a first run — and the controls, so nothing in the game is a mystery.
Answer the eight-question quiz
The first time you open the game it asks eight personality questions — how you handle a fight in the middle of town, what your ideal day off looks like. The answers give you a personality and a starter partner (Impulsive starts you with Scorbunny), and you can re-roll with “Choose another”.
Move only — you never press attack
WASD, the arrow keys or a drag anywhere on the screen move your partner. Your move fires by itself, so all of your attention goes to positioning.
Take one of three cards on level up
Each level-up offers three cards: a new move, an upgrade to the move you have, or a permanent partner boost. Damage and pierce resolve fights early; defence pays off once your damage is stable.
Read the ground, not the sprites
Every enemy attack is marked on the floor before it lands. Healers and shielders make the fight last longer no matter how much damage you do — kill them first.
Take a rift only when your build can win it
A rift portal opens at least every 2.5 minutes and puts you in a legendary arena built from that legendary's type. Win and you leave with ×10 tickets — the fastest ticket income in the game. Lose and you are back on the map with nothing.
Prepare for minute 30
Before the endgame starts, bank coins, spend tickets and decide what your ending looks like. Past minute 30 the goal is how long you extend it, not whether you survive it.
