PokéSurvivor guides
The game explains its systems in-game and leaves the rest to you. These guides cover what happens after the tutorial: how to pick a partner, what the card choices really do, how the softened type chart and the five weather states change a fight, which enemies to kill first, when a rift is worth the risk, what each of the 11 items is for, how the gacha actually pays out, how co-op works, and how to survive the switch to Arceus's Judgment at minute 30.
Every figure here was checked against the game build and its own reference pages. Where the game does not publish a number, these guides say so rather than guessing.
Which starter to pick and how your first three minutes should go
Every region's starters are available from the first run. Here is how to choose one you can actually aim with, what to take from your first level-up cards, and why circling beats running.
Read the guide → BuildsHow level-up cards and move evolutions actually work
The card system is the whole game: three choices per level, moves that cap at level 5, and a golden evolution card that only appears when a maxed move meets the right upgrade card. Here is how to spend your picks.
Read the guide → TypesThe softened type chart and the five weather states
PokéSurvivor's type chart is deliberately flatter than the main games: ×1.6 super effective, ×0.6 resisted, ×0.3 for immunities, and a ×2.4 cap on dual types. Add five weather states on top and a fight can flip mid-run.
Read the guide → CombatWhich enemies to kill first, and how to read the telegraphs
The horde is not one thing. Some enemies heal, some shield, some summon, some explode and some shoot slow telegraphed beams. Killing the right one first is worth more than any amount of extra damage.
Read the guide → RiftsRift arenas: when the portal is worth taking
A rift opens at least every 2.5 minutes. Step in and you fight a legendary in an arena built from its type. Win and you leave with ten times the tickets — lose and you are back on the map with nothing.
Read the guide → ItemsAll 11 equipable items and when each one is worth the slot
Items drop from chests and bosses, only one can be equipped at a time, and they last the run. Here is every item with its real effect and the situation where it beats the one you already have.
Read the guide → CollectionShinies, tickets and the regional gacha
Shinies appear at 1 in 4096 in the wild and 1 in 100 in the gacha. Tickets are only earned by playing, rifts are the fastest route, and coins buy the permanent upgrades that make a starter viable late.
Read the guide → MultiplayerFour-player co-op: what works and what to know before you invite people
Co-op rooms hold up to four players with shared experience and revives. Rooms connect peers directly when they can, which is the one thing you should read before playing with strangers.
Read the guide → EndgameArceus's Judgment: how to prepare for minute 30
At the 30-minute mark the chase turns invincible, accelerates, and sends a legendary after you every five seconds at double the previous health and damage. This is where runs actually end, and it is decided well before it starts.
